I wanted to thank you for the two days we spent in Lisbon. Even though it rained, our group had a great time. Joe went out of his way to make sure we had a great time despite the weather. I will certainly recommend your company and Joe to anyone visiting Lisbon. We had lots of fun and saw everything we came to see.

My husband and I arrived very early ( 6:00AM) in Lisbon for a cruise.
We couldn\'t board until after 2:00.
We contacted For You Go Tours and the m***ger, Manuel, quickly assured us that Joe would be able to get us at the airport, show us around with walking tours, and we\'d be able to keep all our luggage in the trunk of the car.
They were true to their word. Joe was there waiting for us and took us on an extensive sightseeing tour of Lisbon.
It included all the sites we wanted to see, lots of walking and of course, sampling some delicious food!! Joe was knowledgeable about all the stops and gave us a wonderful insight into the city and surrounding area.
He dropped us off at the pier after a terri*** full day tour.
All emails and questions were quickly answered.

We wished to send a thank you note regarding Joe Matos, who was our guide for our day tour to Sintra on Friday, September 8th.

Joe provided us with superior service for our day! He was extremely knowledgeable about the sites that we visited. He has a lovely relaxed conversational way of sharing interesting information and facts. It is obvious that he has gone above and beyond to prepare himself so that he has great information to share and this makes the day outstanding.

He approaches the trip in a non stressful way regarding timing during the day...adjusting to our desires and needs...it creates a non rushed enjoyable atmosphere during the tour. Joe has found a nice balance between information sharing and personal conversation.

He has eternal patience answering the many questions we posed during the day. Knowing that he has done this trip many times, he m***ges to present himself and the trip as something he is enjoying and is not bored with revisiting the same sites over and over ..( we unfortunately did experience this type of tour guide on other tours we took on our vacation this summer).

We simply wanted to say thank you for the high quality, enjoyable and very memorable day that Joe created for us.

Thanks so much for making the 3CDs for us and dropping them by the hotel.
I apologies that it has taken me so long to properly thank you.
Once we got back to the hotel and started working, time passed very quickly we did go back into sintra on Sunday afternoon once the conference was over.
Of course we bought a few extra things, helping the economy of Sintra.

Susan left on Sunday while Vivian and I flew back to the states on Monday, we so enjoyed our time with you in Portugal.
Having our own tour guide made it very special and memorable.

Joe has lots of knowledge about the places we visited on the day which is very very useful so that we did not only visit the place but we know what's the history behind it in detail. The way he explained it to us was really good and hence clear too, his English is perfect...also, as you said he's flexible with time, so overall the tour was fantastic

Surely we'll contact you again for more tours in the future if we visit Portugal again.

For You Go Tours is an excellent tour company to use in Lisbon city tours as well as day trips to other cities, places of interest and villages near Lisbon.
Our tour guide, Joe, was well-informed, entertaining, flexible and a great guide who included not only the tourist sights we wanted to see but non-tourist places.
Joe was also very helpful and went out of his way to guide us to great restaurants, little cafes and even a supermercado.
We would highly recommend For You Go Tours for any of your destinations in Portugal and speci***ally Joe as your tour guide.
Joe also provided bottles of water everyday, cookies for mid afternoon snacks and even treated us to expresso and pastries.

My friend and I were in Portugal for 2 weeks and it was glorious, but the most glorious day we spent was our first day with Joe as he escorted us on a day trip to Sintra. If I'm ever fortunate enough to get back to Portugal, I will work very hard to find every way I can to use "For You Go Tours". It was a wonderful experience!!
